ManyChat Pricing for Coaches (2026): Which Plan You Actually Need

ManyChat's 2026 plans explained for coaches: Free, Essential, Pro, Business and Advanced, what each costs, and which one fits a comment-to-DM setup.

ManyChat is the tool most coaches use to turn Instagram comments into DM conversations: someone comments a keyword on your Reel, and ManyChat sends them a resource, asks a few qualifying questions and shares your booking link. The tool itself is cheap. The mistake most coaches make is picking a plan before they know how many people their content will bring into the DMs.

This guide covers ManyChat’s current plans, what each costs, and which one fits each stage of a coaching business. Prices are taken from ManyChat’s pricing page on 7 November 2026 and are in US dollars. Check the page before you buy, because plans change.

The short answer: start on Free to build and test one comment-to-DM flow. Move to Essential ($14–$17 a month) once it works. Move to Pro ($29–$39 a month) when you pass 250 active contacts or want AI-assisted replies. Most solo coaches never need Business or Advanced.

“Not stated” means the pricing page didn’t list it for that plan when we checked. Pricing is based on active contacts, so your bill depends on how many people interact with your automations, not how many followers you have.

What each plan gives a coach

Free: test one flow

The Free plan includes the automation builder, 60+ templates and up to 4 live triggers, for 25 active contacts. That’s enough to build your first comment-to-DM flow and check that the message, resource and booking link work. It isn’t enough to run it on Reels that actually get seen: one post that lands can bring in far more than 25 people.

Essential: the starting point for most coaches

Essential adds unlimited automations, contact data collection and tags for 250 active contacts. Tags matter for coaches. They let you mark who answered your qualifying questions, which offer they’re interested in, and which Reel they came from. That last one is how you find out which topics start sales conversations.

Pro: when the content starts working

Pro raises the limit to 2,500 active contacts and adds Broadcasts and AI-powered conversations. ManyChat says the AI can reply in DMs and comments, answer FAQs and guide conversations once you’ve taught it about your business. Move here when you regularly exceed 250 contacts, or when your DMs fill up with the same questions.

Business and Advanced: teams and high volume

Business ($69–$99) and Advanced ($139–$199) add more contacts, unlimited channels, a shared team inbox, ManyChat AI and no ManyChat branding. They make sense if a setter or assistant handles your DMs, or your content regularly reaches thousands of people a month.

The cost that matters more than the plan

Even the Advanced plan costs less than one sales call is worth to a high-ticket coach. The real cost of ManyChat is the flow itself. The keyword, the resource you send, the two or three qualifying questions, and who follows up. A badly built flow on the Pro plan books fewer calls than a good one on Essential.

Before you upgrade, check four things:

  1. Is the resource worth commenting for? A checklist or a short training people actually want, not a generic “DM me”.
  2. Do your questions qualify? Ask what someone is working on and what they’ve tried before you send a booking link.
  3. Are you tagging the source? Tag each lead with the Reel or keyword it came from, so you can make more of what works.
  4. Does a person read the replies? Automation starts the conversation. Someone should still read the answers daily.

The full setup is in our guide to comment-to-DM automation for coaches. Where it fits in the whole client-acquisition system is covered in how to get high-ticket coaching clients from Instagram.

If you’d rather not build it yourself, comment-to-DM automation is set up on your own ManyChat account as part of the Authority Flywheel™, alongside 30 scripted videos a month ($999 a month, pricing). The ManyChat subscription is paid directly to ManyChat.

Which ManyChat plan is best for coaches?
